Historic Aerial Photograph Overlay of New York City

Google Earth KML File:

Google Earth BBS Discussion:

Description:

High resolution aerial photograph of Manhattan, New York, circa 1953-1954. This was created from 8 images obtained from the USGS. I joined them together, georefrenced them and imported them as Google Earth SuperOverlays. The imagery is around 1.5 meters per pixel, however some detail is lost in the way the USGS compresses them.
